The
Purpose… Upcoming Events
Aloha
Parenting Project (APP) is a statewide clearinghouse for parents
who are interested in learning about and improving parenting skills
and techniques. In March, APP is offering some exciting new seminars
featuring parenting expert, best selling author and family psychologist,
John Rosemond. For details of his speaking events, please check
the schedule below.
APP is always coordinating Parent Discussion Groups. One of the
seminars we are offering in March is to train facilitators of
these discussion groups. We encourage you to participate in this
seminar or join a discussion group, as we feel that with the support
these groups offer, parents will better be able to apply and incorporate
the advice and techniques Mr. John Rosemond gives us in his lectures
and books. If you’re interesting in joining one of the groups,
or you’d like to organize your own discussion group with
a little help from APP, please email carol@mikegabbard.com
with your name and phone number.
We’re currently updating our contact list of other valuable
networks and organizations in Hawai’i, which will be posted
on our website soon.
